I am supping my cidre, without any move.


- OK. - Irene is going to add something - I understand. There was a war, real war. All houses were destroyed and smashed, really destroyed. Death, starving, lack of food, death - it was true. Daily routine. And we helped each other - without any demands and pitying asks. Help your neighbour in hard times - if you can.
- But now..damn it - and she adds something thickly. - You are hefty fellow with two hands and two legs.
- They are saying that they were ill - I am noticing carefully
- They have only one illness - answered Irene - They are so lazy..


I am supping my cidre again in silence. It's so similiar to the minds of the some peoples in my country. And, generally speaking, common sense is one feature, one fine character. You could find it out easily in Scottish nature - and in Russian too.

One taxi driver in Edinburgh said to me: "We could be different. Like any other nation in the world".
The Scots are straight people? Sakes alive..


One day I was sitting in the guest hall at my school (EAC School in Edinburgh, strictly speaking). TV set was working -  there was a weather forecast or something like this.
One old man came in - he was 65 or nearly that age.
- It's raining now - I told him
And he  spoke with complete abandonment. He told me everything about his family, his wife - all his roitine was exposed to me.


The Scots are dumb and offish?
